Beschreibung
The book consists of three parts. The first part «Innovation of and for learning and development» comprises twelve articles. The second part of the book is devoted to examining the issues of «Networking and cohesion» and comprises six articles. The third part of the book is called «University for development of new learning and mobility» and comprises fifteen articles. Though dealing with the problems of the countries in-transition, these articles touch upon more general points of higher education. The articles should catch the eye of those readers and researchers who are interested in the problems of higher education development associated with the conversion of educational paradigm. We hope that the ideas presented in the articles of this book will stimulate new research. As the publications involve quite a lot of data on educational changes in Lithuania, this collection of articles may be useful to those researchers, teachers and students who are interested in comparative research. It may also be of interest to those who focus on the issues of lifelong learning, development of the knowledge and learning society, and stimulation of innovativeness its stakeholders (individual and organisations), especially those concerned with education. von Carlsburg, Gerd-Bodo von
