Über den Autor
After facing off competition from 63 other determined contestants, through seven gruelling weeks of culinary challenges and an exhilarating final cook-off, Saliha became the thirteenth amateur cook to lift the MasterChef trophy in 2017. Dr Saliha Mahmood Ahmed is also a Gastroenterology Doctor and author of Khazana, which won the Observer Food Monthly Best Cookbook of the Year 2019. Khazana was also shortlisted for the Travel Cookery Book of the Year in the 2019 Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards and was winner of the Summer Harvest Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2020, in the category Celebrity Chef in English. She is a based in London, working for the NHS, and has two children. Her next book, Foodology: A food-lover's guide to digestive health and happiness comes out in 2021.
