Beschreibung
The main objective of this study was to establish the relationship between employee trust of top management and the performance of SACCOs in Nairobi City County and the moderating effects of managerial attributes, employee characteristics and organizational factors on the relationship. The pertinent hypotheses were derived from the main objective. The study population consisted of all the 1065 SACCOs in Nairobi City County as at 31st December 2014. A descriptive cross sectional survey was used to achieve the objective. Primary data was collected using two questionnaires, one to CEOs of the SACCOs and the other to the employees. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results from the regression analyses revealed that employee trust of the top management of the SACCOs had a weak and positive statistically insignificant effect on both financial and non-financial performance. With regard to the second objective the study found out that managerial attributes, did not significantly moderate the relationship between employee trust of top management and both financial and non financial performance of SACCOs in Nairobi City County. von Kagwe, Jeremiah
