Psidium guajava is a fruit consumed by many but who would have thought that it could be used to power engines. The oil extracted from the dried seeds of Psidium guajava was used in the production of biodiesel.. The biodiesel produced was subjected to physiochemical analysis. The methyl esters produced were found to meet the ASTM standards for biodiesel. The results obtained from analysis of biodiesel from Psidium guajava were amazing.
