The Connection between Base Structure and Linearization Restrictions in German and Dutch
Recently, generative linguists have been concentrating on underlying principles of grammar rather than dealing with the connection between surface data and base structure. This book is an attempt to establish that connection by writing a grammar of the German and Dutch sentence. Moreover, it stresses the value of the Topological Fields Theory as a «prefiguration» of later transformational analyses. von Scherpenisse, Wim
