Über den Autor
Karen Berger has hiked more than 17,000 miles all over the world, including thru-hikes of the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide Trails, and is the author of twelve books on hiking, including Rizzoli's award-winning America's Great Hiking Trails. Bill McKibben is an environmentalist and writer who frequently contributes to the New York Times, the Atlantic, and Outside. The American Hiking Society is the only national organization that promotes and protects foot trails, their surrounding natural areas, and the hiking experience.
