This forestry training manual provides a compendium of 29 training units that can be used as references in designing, planning, and conducting training programs on establishment and sustainable management of forests by smallholders. The focus is on establishment of production forests with protective functions achieved through a permanent forest cover. Primary target group of the training manual are trainers involved in implementation of KfW co-financed large-scale forestry projects in Vietnam.
