On the occasion of the anniversary year "2021: 1700 Years of Jewish Life in Germany," Boaz Kaizman has developed the major media installation Green Area. In seven large-scale projections he reflects on the artistic process by looking back on his previous work from the thematic perspective of Jewish life in the past and present and integrating it into the installation in quotations. Moreover, Kaizman deals with the way in which language is the basis of all arts. With a selection of 1,700 books, the Germania Judaica, a local library on the history of Judaism in Germany, opens a temporary branch at the Museum Ludwig.
