»The National Certification Mark« Certification marks denote that the goods or services for which they are used possess certain defined characteristics. Whilst France and the United Kingdom have used certification marks for a long time, owners of quality labels in Germany have to register their labels as collective or individual trademarks. This work explores the problems involved. Using the method of comparative law the work examines how legal provisions should be designed to solve these problems.
