Beschreibung
The work presents essential features of Chinas' history, starting with archaeological sites, continuing with pre-dynastic and imperial China as well as the period of the modern republics. The regional political circumstances and closely related to that China's relationship towards non-Chinese aliens from East, West and the North are regarded attentively. It is demonstrated that China has suffered similar radical change, restructuring and downtime to other societies and that it is still capable of finding its path and position in our modern global world. von Weiers, Michael
