Beschreibung
Party Time takes an intriguing look at life in Irish politics for the ordinary person. Introduced to 'The Party' at a very young age, politics has shaped Johnny Fallon and influenced the course of his life. We follow Johnny as he navigates his way through school, college, looking for work and looking for love. Through it all, Johnny's passion for the cut and thrust of party politics is ever-present. He explains, tongue in cheek, where his love of a political movement comes from, and illustrates the commitment it takes for a family to stay involved - and of course, why they are willing to do it. A fascinating account of a life spent in politics, Fallon's tale is set against the background of some of the most dramatic political events in Ireland's history.
