Beschreibung
Set during the Thatcher years, Top Girls is a seminal play of the modern theatre, revealing a world of women's experience at a pivotal moment in British history. It questions the notions of 'success' when it comes to women's identities and priorities, and offers a striking look at the society and politics of the 1980s and the effects on everyday lives - in particular, the lives of women. This new Student Edition features an introduction by Sophie Bush, Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, UK and has been thoroughly revised with today's student in mind. von Churchill, Caryl
