Über den Autor
The Author: Carme Riera was born in Mallorca, Spain in 1949. She has written short stories, essays and novels and won diverse literary prizes for her work. She writes mainly in Catalan and sometimes translates her works into Spanish. Carme Riera lives in Barcelona where she teaches Spanish Literature at the Universidad Autónoma. Cristina de la Torre lives in Atlanta where she teaches Spanish at Emory University.
