The present thesis focuses on different queer individuals' personal experiences, and argues that their social development is emblematic of what can be recognized as an "intertopian navigation": a physical and mental migration from dystopian realities and utopian desires to heterotopias. Über den Autor
Steve Barbosa was born and raised in Switzerland. He started his academic career in Lausanne and at the State University of New York. He subsequently studied at the University of Zurich where he obtained a Master of Arts, and where he wrote the present thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Bronfen.
