Beschreibung
The end aim of a dairy farm is to obtain high quantity and quality milk. This book discusses hand-milking procedures, types of milking machines and application and challenges farmers face in milking. The reasons many farmers are not using milking machines are highlighted. Milk cooling, transportation, and packaging methods are discussed. Shortage of water and power prevent farms from maintaining sanitation and from employing appropriate cooling and storage methods. There is alternative water and power sources that farms are required to adopt for high quality milk production and handling contained in this book. von Ombuna, Christine
