Beschreibung
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Science and research have recently studied some sea sponges which feed on grease and grime as well as meat. These species were first discovered 20 years back. However, scientific researchers have found it difficult to analyse and understand the lifecycles of these species since they live so far away within the deep waters. The new carnivorous sponge was spotted approximately 2 miles beneath the waves of California by oceanic experts. The scientific name given to these sponges is Chondrocladia lyra. Also known as the harp sponge, the Chondrocladia lyra possess the shape of a musical instrument which is turned on its side. The creatures is endowed with thin fingers which are shrouded in fibers. Yet, these thin fingers have the potential to trap small crustaceans, which are technically meat! von Thomson-Smith, Lydia D.
