Über den Autor
Dr. Charles Moses Lyimo was born on 13th of November, 1972 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He pursued his undergraduate and post graduate studies (MSc) at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Tanzania, and joined his doctorate studies at Georg-August-Universität, Göttingen, in Germany. He is a member of academic staff in the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science at the Sokoine University of Agriculture since 2006. He is specialized in Biochemistry and Animal Genetics particularly in Population Genomics and Molecular Diversity in Farm Animals. His main area of research interests are Molecular Genetics, Evolution studies, Animal Genetic Resources Conservations, Livestock Production in the Tropics, Poultry Development Programs for Smallholder Farmers and Transfer of Agricultural Knowledge to the Farmers and other Stakeholders.
